Item Description

A very aesthetic and excellent combination piece from a classic and closed locality. Taewha Mine scheelites were long considered to be the world"s finest, until recently. Four, very sharp, highly lustrous and translucent, gray-brown, scheelite octahedrons to 2.5 cm are dramatically clustered in a quadrangle and are nicely accented by fringing quartz crystals and tan dolomite. This very fine piece has artistic architecture and displays well from all four sides! The tips of two of the large pyramids are very gently bruised, which is certainly a minimal detraction to this sculptural and fine piece. Ghostly white fluorescence on the scheelites. Ex Dave Bristol Collection. Valued $750
