Item Description
Scheelite specimens are RARE from this Chinese tungsten-tin mine, that is better known for fine fluorite and euclase specimens. A striking 3.8 x 3.4 x 3.4 cm, sharp, tetragonal pyramidal scheelite crystal is dramatically set on the frosted quartz crystal matrix plate. The pristine, lustrous, translucent prism is whitish-gray with frosted faces. Ghostly white fluoescence. The Piaotang Mine is better known for RARE purple scheelite specimens, making this an exceptional rare color varietal in its own right. Outstanding and rare scheelite and quartz from the locale.
