Scheelite with Beryl and Muscovite

This locality has produced some of the most distinctive and signature specimens from China. The best of the Scheelites are incredible and world class for what they are. This particular piece features sharp, lustrous, translucent, golden orange color, pseudo-octahedral crystals of Scheelite measuring up to 1.7 cm. Additionally there are some tabular, gemmy, colorless "Goshenite" Beryl crystals and compressed, bladed, silvery Muscovite on matrix. The quality is fair and the best of these specimens are some of the finest examples of crystallized Scheelite in the world. Minor roughness, but good shape overall. It obviously shows classic bright blue fluorescence under UV light.
