Item Description
A classic, highly lustrous, very well striated, jet-black, schorl crystal from an old (1920s), but uncommon Paris, Maine pegmatite - the Whispering Pines Quarry. This triangular crystal has a nifty notch in the sloping termination. Complete all-around, with only modest edgewear on one corner. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 3039 and has a 1989 date.
