Item Description

An attractive association specimen from this famous Pakistani locality. The focal point of the piece is the jet-black, prismatic striated Schorl Tourmaline crystal which plays host to several species including pale blue "barrel"-shaped Aquamarine, colorless, prismatic crystals of Topaz, milky hexagonal Quartz crystals, and minor gemmy, thin prims of green Tourmaline (probably Elbaite). There are two distinct species of Tourmaline on this specimen, which is not common in my experience. Additionally, some of the Tourmaline crystals are included in the Quartz crystals! There are also some additional species on the piece including Albite and Muscovite, bringing the total to at least six species together on one rock. Overall, the quality is great, and the piece displays well from many angles. A cool and worthwhile full-sized miniature display specimen with several associated species.
