An extremely complex, striking and starkly contrasting schorl and feldspar specimen from the Erongo Mountains. This impressive, complete all-around piece is composed of a myriad of parallel-growth, highly lustrous, jet-black schorl crystals with a very sculptural form. The sharp, snow-white feldspar crystals sprinkled on the front are a super accent, as is the crevasse, that separates the twin, crenellated towers at the top. The back is another story, as the schorls are corroded and festooned with feldspar crystals. Pristine, with only the attachment at the base.
