Spectacular intergrown jackstraw sprays of glassy, pearlescent, transparent to translucent scolecite prism from recent finds in Nashik. STUNNING. The dramatic crystals reach 7.0 cm. Scolecite is one of the major Zeolite Group species found in the basaltic Traprock deposits of Maharashtra. Ex Richard Rossi Collection. Richard is a Senior Fellow of the Mineralogical Record.
