RARE GERMAN SCORODITE! Large, sharp, bluish-green, scorodite prisms to 5 mm are nicely scattered in the vuggy barite matrix and are accented with gemmy, golden-yellow, pseudocubic, bariopharmacosiderite crystals to 1 mm on this classic German combination specimen. The Clara Mine is an ancient and famous mine in the Black Forest, started in 1726 and still operating today! Ex Howard Belsky Collection. Howard started as a mineral dealer at age 13 in 1972, became a sophisticated dealer and died tragically at age 28 in 1987. His collection recently became available to us through his family.
