Green-blue, well-formed, pseudo-octahedral (actually orthorhombic) Scorodite crystals up to an impressive 4mm (for the locality) richly fill vugs on a Quartz matrix on this fine and large specimen from the Hemerdon Mine, a famous locality known for its high quality Scorodite. Some of the best European scorodite specimens are from this open-cast mine. This is an old specimen probably dating to the late 1800's. A beautiful small cabinet with abundant, well-formed Scorodite crystals from this noted UK locale. Much better in person. Ex. Voelter collection with label. valued $1500
