Item Description

Serpierite is relatively uncommon hydrated calcium-copper-zinc sulfate and this very showy and rich specimen is from an obscure copper mine in Chile. Beautiful, robins egg-blue, radial clusters of sparkly serpierite micro-needles richly cover the matrix. Scattered green atacamite or brochantite (uncommon) is a nice compliment. Excellent and very rarely available material from this uncommon locale.
