Item Description

Shattuckite normally occurs as crusts of intergrown small crystals, or as inclusions in other minerals, and usually just as "matrix" rock rather than anything we would describe as a real crystal or shape of its own. This, however, is something unusual! It is an aesthetic light blue hemispherical growth with uniform silky lustrous crystals grown together, radiating from a common core to form half of a botryoidal ball that is actually crystallized inside. Unusual!
