Item Description

A single large hemisphere of Shattuckite to 4.0 cm across forms an attractive solid radial cluster. The rich sky blue, rounded front surface of the Shattuckite hemisphere resembles a planetary moon in contrast to the darker blue, smooth to slightly roughly textured backside that shows some white mottling. A very nice piece from finds of 2013 which represents some of the world's best and richest examples of the species. An aesthetic example of generally rare hydroxylated copper silicate mineral!
