Item Description

Shattuckite is an uncommon copper silicate named after the Type Locality Shattuck Mine at Bisbee. A sculptural vug is lined with pretty cornflower-blue, banded shattuckite and is filled with large, lustrous, dark green primary malachite blades. The bit of massive, milky quartz matrix is a very nice contrast to this showy and excellent specimen from the Charlie Key dealer stock. The contacting to the malachite at the top of the vug is mostly out of sight. Highly representative combination material from this find.
