Item Description
Shattuckite is an uncommon copper silicate named after the Type Locality Shattuck Mine at Bisbee. A sculptural, cave-like vug with two openings is lined with pretty powder-blue, banded shattuckite with slightly lighter shattuckite botryoids. The vug is in a strange-looking and artistic crust of casted solid shattuckite. This is one of the few specimens where drusy quartz does not coat the botryoids. This showy and excellent specimen is from the Charlie Key dealer stock. Highly representative material from this find in quality but a superb piece overall, as the architecture of the piece is striking. Valued highly!
