An old-time and superb specimen from a historic French locale - Allevard, Rhone-Alpes. Sharp, lustrous, translucent, classic greenish-brown siderite rhombs compose this fine piece. The striking, large siderite rhomb is 2.4 cm. Essentially pristine, with only super-trival edgewear and periphery wear. Seldom on the market in this quality. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. Howard started as a mineral dealer at age 13 in 1972, became a sophisticated dealer and died tragically at age 28 in 1987. His collection recently became available to us through his family.
