Siderite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

Tighly intergrown crystals of highly compressed rhombic Siderite make up the display side of this attractive near cabinet sized specimen. The crystals have a golden-brown hue with a semi vitreous luster than can be seen when the piece is rotated in the light. The largest crystal measures 1.5 cm across, and the piece is damag free, save the periphery where it was removed from the pocket. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#1231).
