Item Description

These specimens are from the discovery in 2010 in Bolivia. This particular piece is one of the better Siderite specimens I've offered from Tasna. It hosts several wonderful, good sized, well crystallized, sharp, greenish-brown, compressed rhombohedra of Siderite measruing up to 2.7 cm with minor associated Pyrite The crystals are actually translucent when backlit, which is rare for Bolivia, and the tiny but BEAUTIFUL modifications on the edges make for some really beautiful crystallization. This piece was difficult to photograph, but it's very good for the material (especially from a Bolivian locality). It's in great shape overall, and it is really aesthetic compared to most Siderites I have seen from any locality in Bolivia. Valued at $600.
