Item Description

Honey-yellow, gemmy/translucent siderite disks and scattered clusters of contrasting gray galena cuboctahedrons have covered a sculptural jackstraw cluster of intergrown flattened pyrrhotite crystals on this showy and excellent combination from the famous Herja Mine. The pyrrhotite plates reach 3.1 cm. This is a classic combination style from this well-known polymetallic mine. The interior is pristine on this fine 360-degree piece from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
