Item Description
A CLASSIC and choice CABINET siderite specimen from the famed Poudrette Quarry at Mt. St-Hilaire. Two, large, lustrous, yellowish-brown siderite rhombs are very aesthetically set on matrix covered with small albite crystals. The large rhomb is 5.5 cm on the diagonal. Both rhombs are complete all-around and the bit of contacting on the back corner of the large rhomb is very minimally detracting on such an impressive siderite specimen. These are large siderite crystals for the locale. Ex James Zigras Collection.
