Silver with Galena

Item Description

Very charismatic, complexly turning, elegant wires of Silver with great luster and form arc up, loop, and return to the matrix. This attractive loop displays prominently in the center of this piece along with a nest of twisted Silver wires on the matrix. This loop arcs to 1.5 cm in maximum dimension off the matrix. There are numerous, rounded, tightly grouped bundles of Silver around the periphery of the piece and a couple that grace the top of the specimen. The Silver is on a matrix of Galena and Acanthite with a minor amount of anhedral white Quartz for contrast. The complexity of the Silver wires is actually more apparent in person! Nicely balanced, this piece is good from almost any orientation.
