Texas is known as a fine mineral specimen wasteland, but here is an EXCEPTION! A sharply terminated, lustrous and translucent quartz crystal with iron oxide inclustions has a striking interior phantom and riveting skeletal features on 6 sides. Viewed on end, it looks like a 6-rayed starburst. The two label read about 10 miles from Llano, Texas. Kay Robertson collection #6158. Also Edna Doughty and Richard Hauck Collections. EXTREMELY RARE and fine Texas material! This is a UNIQUE old-timer.
