Smithsonite

Recently, a few miners in Mexico decided to go back into Choix to try to find some highly sought after specimens of Smithsonite, but this piece is from the OLD material from the mid 1970s. This mine is well known for its colorful and bright display specimens, ranging in color from pink to purple to blue to green. This piece features some beautiful pink color spherical aggregates of Smithsonite with a very attractive vitreous luster. A nice Smithsonite from this classic Mexican locale.
