Item Description
A gorgeous vug of riveting, translucent, powder-blue smithsonite from the great classic location of Laurium, Greece. These blue smithsonites came out many years ago and were the best blues available in the 1800s and early 1900s, prior to the Kelly mine material coming out. They are still highly desired for their soft color and old world history. Periphery wear is noted, but in the overall context of this striking specimen, it is a modest detraction.
