Item Description
Lustrous, translucent, gray smithsonite rhombs to 1.6 cm on edge blanket the very sculptural sulfide matrix, with a nifty "tail", from Tsumeb. The interior of the piece is pristine and the bit of periphery wear is certainly a modest detraction to this showy and excellent example of the species and renowned locale. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased from Roberts Minerals in San Francisco in 1981.
