Item Description
A shapely, striking and very interestingly formed smithsonite from this historic district. A cavern roof of juicy, translucent, rich mint-green and white, bubbly smithsonite botryoids overhangs the very unusual FOLDED floor of layered smithsonite. The back shot reveals the nifty crust-like form of the smithsonite. Probably older material, but no proof from the University of Delaware Collection.
