Item Description
Translucent, highly lustrous, bluish-gray, smithsonite botryoids from the famous Kelly Mine. The mounded botryoids form a sculptural specimen with a nifty crater. The bluish-gray color is rare. The piece displays very well from either side. Ex Wally Mann Collection, who purchased this piece from miner/dealer, Tony Otero in his miner"s shack root cellar in Magdalena on June 4, 1995. Ex Karl Warning Collection and obtained from Wally in 1998.
