Beautiful, translucent robins eggs-blue smithsonite botryoids cover the layered smithsonite matrix very fine and showy plate from this famous locale. The Fioravanti label identifies this as hemimorphite, but we believe this is desirable blue smithsonite. Acquired from Boubee in 1961 for 150 French francs. Classic and colorful Lavrion material.
