Item Description

Some of the best examples of gem quality Smoky Quartz have been coming out of Brazil for decades. This is a classic Brazilian Smoky Quartz gem with a tradiional "Oval Brilliant" cut and nearly eye clean clarity. Although Smoky Quartz is a well-known gem/mineral, it's not easy to find transparent material that will yield fine cut gems from most Brazil has probably produced more gem/lapidary grade Quartz than any other country in the world in the last 80+ years.
