Item Description

Here we have a good crystallized Smoky Quartz specimen from this famous locality at Hallelujah Junction in Nevada. I obtained this specimen directly from the people who collected it (Earth's Treasures / Rick Kennedy). The specimen was mined in May of 2016. It has good form and gemminess for any locality, especially one in the U.S. The piece features sharp, lustrous, well formed, defined smoky colored crystals (the largest of which is doubly-terminated) with a distinct multi-color variation. There's a bit of white Quartz underneath creating a bit of scepter habit crystals. It's incomplete on the back, but very gemmy and sharp on the display side, and a pretty good specimen for the material.
