Item Description
An imposing and very aesthetic upright smoky quartz and amazonite combination specimen from recent Colorado finds. A 5.5 cm, sharply terminated and lustrous, smoky quartz is strikingly set amidst lustrous, sharp, turquoise-blue amazonite crystals to 3.4 cm across. Labeling on the back of the piece indicates that it has been repaired and restored (cleanly). This is quite normal for these pegmatitic specimens, that are separated by tectonic pocket forces. The color and luster of the amazonite is definitely above average for the area. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $125, for free. Classic and excellent Colorado smoky quartz and amazonite. Valued at $1100-1250.
