Smoky Quartz (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A wonderful, sharp, very well formed, euhedral Smoky Quartz crystal with lustrous faces and good gemminess is associated with minor pink Microcline crystals. A few secondary Smokies at the base make for a good touch. Very good shape all around, and near textbook quality for crystal form on the main crystal, with only slight roughness near the base. A good representative specimen from this classic pegmatite district in Colorado. Found in 2007, and from the Colorado collection of Brian Kosnar.
