Smoky Quartz scepter on Quartz and Prehnite

From the storied Goboboseb Mountains in Namibia, this is an OUTSTANDING combination specimen with two varieties of quartz on one piece. The centerpiece is a lustrous and gemmy Smoky Quartz scepter that is 3.4 cm tall. It rises majestically from a matrix of sharp Quartz crystals intergrown with mint-green Prehnite. These Quartz crystals, up to 2.2 cm with some being doubly-terminated, are beautifully-formed and gemmy. Even without the Smoky, this combination would be a fine Namibian specimen - representative but not particularly valuable. The scepter takes this piece to a higher level of aesthetics, rarity, and quality.
