Item Description

This excellent smoky quartz crystal compares favorably with classic Alpine smokies, but is from Maine! The crystal is very glassy, water-clear to translucent and has rich smoky color. The preferentially etched and stepped-growth faces really add character to this smoky. Complete all-around. The sharp termination has just a bit of bruising and there is just one trivial spot of side wear. The basal periphery wear is noted. From an obscure locality and rare in this quality.
