Item Description

A handsome pair of glassy, sharply terminated smoky quartz crystals nicely accented with feldspar matrix. The lustrous crystals have fine variable smoky color and are transparent to translucent. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A trivial bit of bruising is noted to both terminations, but is certainly only a modet detraction to this excellent and aesthetic smoky. High quality smoky quartz specimens are rare and mineral specimens of any species are uncommon from the pegmatites in this area. Rare and choice material from the Sanabria Collection.
