Item Description

A very fine, large and uncommon combination plate from Tongbei. Three, sharp, hexagonal, "books" of pearlescent muscovite plates with green, chloritic sides are nicely scattered on the dramatic elongate, LARGE CABINET, plate of sharp microcline crystals. The scattered, discrete, gemmy and lustrous, cinnamon-orange, spesartines to 5 mm are a super accent and are RARE in this isolation from Tongbei. There are also a few small, scattered about, gemmy and lustrous, smoky quartz crystals as an additional accent. Muscovites of this size and quality, in combination with the very isolated spessartines rank this as an outstanding and rare, sculptural large combination specimen. Pristine. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Valued at $500-600.
