Beautiful, gemmy, rich cinnamon-orange spessartine garnet trapezohedrons with modified corners and classic striated faces are richly and aesthetically strewn across the sculptural feldspar matrix on this showy and excellent small cabinet from Tongbei. The garnets reach 7 mm on this adorable piece. The back has been sawed to enhance the fine display quality. Little new material has come out in the last 5 or more years.
