A 360-degree striking example of the famous cinnamon-orange spessartines on smoky quartz from China. The gemmy garnets preferentially are richly sprinkled on the sides of the glassy, smoky quartz crystal, but not on the termination faces! The spessartines have excellent luster, are very gemmy, and range up to about 5 mm in size. The stout smoky is very interesting with a translucent double termination, water-clear gem mid-section and translucent base on the feldspar matrix. The pristine smoky has excellent color and and the side car crystals add real pizzazz. A very fine combination jewel! Common 6-8 years ago, you don't see many around anymore, especially in this quality.
