Item Description

A striking, 2.4 cm, gemmy and lustrous, spessartine garnet crowns this impressive, mounded, combination specimen from recent finds in Pakistan. The unretouched backlit photos highlight the gemminess and intense reddish-orange color saturations. The underlying: 3.2 cm, splendent, striated, schorl; pearlescent, muscovite books; and blocky, lustrous, plagioclase crystals are superbly complimentary. Complete all-around, with strikingly different looks from either side. A very aesthetic and nifty, two-for-one piece! Valued at $500-700. ex Dave Bristol garnet collection
