Item Description

About 10 years ago, there were many of these specimens on the market, and they are becoming increasingly difficult to find these days. This specimen features a pair of nice, sharp, lustrous, deep red color trapezohedra (with dodecahedral modifications) of Spessartine on contrasting white, blocky, "porcelian"-esque Albite crystals. When strongly backlit, you can see the beautiful deep internal color of the Spessartines. You don't see these specimens on the market much anymore, and I think this piece has excellent presence along with being a wonderful crystallized representation of Garnet.
