Item Description
A 1.6 cm, rich wine red color, sharp, lustrous trapezohedral Spessartine crystal sitting on white bladed Albite crystals. For Garnet collectors, this is an attractive Fe-rich Spessartine specimen, and the pieces from Shengus are among the best red Spessartines in the world. The crystal is mostly complete, with a slight contact on the edge where it grew up against the pocket wall.
