Deep orange-red color, gemmy / translucent, lustrous, well-formed, dodecahedral Spessartine crystals measuring up to 8 mm sit beautifully on white Albite and Microcline matrix. For Garnet collectors, this is an attractive Fe-rich Spessartine specimen, and the pieces from Shengus are among the best red Spessartines in the world. Good quality all around.
