Item Description

This is a very attractive specimen from Shengus featuring sharp, lustrous, lovely wine-red, Spessartine crystals measuring up to 7 mm which are are associated with slightly Smoky Quartz crystals and white Microcline. For Garnet collectors, this is a great association specimen, and a fairly worthwhile piece of this well-known material. Despite the fact that these pieces are fairly well-known on the market, they are some of the very few red Spessartines available these days from any locality.
