This attractive cabinet specimen features a handful of sharp, rather lustrous, crystals of sphalerite (3 cm tall) which show a strong metallic luster and some beautiful golden chalcopyrite on it. Associated crystals of silvery galena can be seen scattered around the wonderfully contrasting white crystallized quartz matrix, and part of the quartz crystals include galena. Found in 1996. Ex. Cook Collection. This is a very fine, classic specimen, valued $750-1000.
