Item Description
Lustrous, striated, jet-black, sphalerite crystals to 3.0 cm are nicely accented with translucent, saddle-shaped, dolomite crystals and a second generation of tiny, red, rubyjack, sphalerite crystals on this classic, old-time, CABINET specimen from the famous Joplin Field. The major sphalerite crystals are in good shape, overall. Periphery wear and bruising are noted, mainly on the extremities, and are modest detractions to this very showy and excellent mounded specimen. Ex George Feist Collection # 2732. valued $750
