Item Description

Grizzly Bear specimens are among some of the most sought after San Juan specimens by Colorado collectors. This specimen hosts sharp, translucent/gemmy, rich orange color, modified crystals of Sphalerite up to 5 mm on Quartz with cubic silvery Galena, micro tan Siderite crystals on massive Quartz matrix. This is one of the very few Sphalerite specimens from this well known locality that I have seen, and possibly the first one I have offered in the auctions. The Zanett tunnel is named after the family that owns the Grizzly Bear mine.
