Item Description

Highly lustrous, twinned, jet-black sphalerite crystals to 3.1 cm on this excellent specimen from this noted Balkan locality. The sphalerites are nicely accented with a small cluster of brassy pyrites on one edge. Classic material from this noted locale from the Vincent Valade and Robert Whitmore Collections.
