Item Description

A rare and beautiful, spinel-twinned fluorite nicely accented with pearlescent muscovite blades and a bit of quartz from Chumar Bakhoor, Pakistan. Specimens of this size, color, complete all-around and nearly pristine quality are rarely encountered and are highly sought-after. The textbook sharp twin is a translucent, very pretty, vivid pink with lightly frosted faces. One end is lightly contacted, but has very little damage, per se. The contact on one side below the quartz/muscovite rosette along the crest is noted, but is not a detraction at all. This is a very impressive, colorful, large spinel-twin fluorite from this locale. Valued at $1750-2000. RARE!
