Scintillating, straight, spinel-twinned, gold wires form a striking, beautiful and dense nest aesthetically covering three sides and the top of the calcite matrix on this very fine miniature from the Olinghouse District. One long spinel is about 1.2 cm long. Classic material from this district and it looks great from either side!
