Item Description

Staurolite from Georgia is best-known in the form of 'fairy crosses', usually embedded in matrix. These, however, are a very nifty floater floater pair of fairy cross crystals with textbook angled cruciform shape. The pseudohexagonal, moderately lustrous brown crystals are sharply terminated and are pristine. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection and comes with Burminco labels from the O. Ivan Lee Collection.
