Item Description

These pseudomorphs are a Mexican classic. The material is instantly recognizable, with the gentle yellow color Stibiconite that has replaced the original Stibnite crystal, retaining the prismatic "sword"-shaped form. The pseduo is so well-detailed that you can actually see the striation lines of the original Stibnite crystal. This is certainly one of the largest single crystals of the material that we've had to offer and I can't see any damage, save the bottom where it was removed from the pocket. Small white Quartz crystals can be seen near the termination on the reverse side of the specimen. Valued at $1250. From the collection of Senator / Dr. Miguel Romero of Teuhuacan, Mexico (Collection #6276).
